Tailor; left tuxedo trousers to have a watch-pocket installed. Bank; cashed $250 check. Video Magic; got “Family Business” & “Casualties of War.” Post office; mailed Greenbrier piece to Robert Conte, institutional historian; also got a roll of 25¢ stamps. Seessel’s; got cereal, corn, & two think pork chops. “Family Business” well acted – Dustin Hoffman, Sean Connery, Matthew Broderick – but unsatisfactory otherwise. Letter from Confederate General Evander Law’s granddaughter wanting permission to quote me on him. I will be glad for her to use whatever she wants; Law is one of my favorite brigade commanders. |
