TranscriptColonoscopy,
7 A.M. Up at 6.15; out patient registration by 6.45. Got sent to hospital room 816, then to prep room; got sedated, then wheeled into procedure room & re-sedated. Result: I slept through the colonoscopy. First I knew of it was when Myron Lewis informed me that he had found no polyps. Back in hospital room, I called Gwyn to come get me. Breakfast at home — first food in twenty-odd hours….good news all round. No after effects. Phone call from Wm Cosel, Executive Producer for Boston Pops & John Williams; wants me to narrate Aaron Copeland’s [sic] “Lincoln Portrait” in concert on May 14 & 15. Letter follows. Letter from Bob Loomis ends: “An amendment letter is on the way to you, so that the limitations-of-earnings restriction can be lifted, hopefully without any legal repercussions.” (Feb. 15) |
